Domestic Violence Training Project

This joint venture with the Michigan State Police targeted law enforcement and medical professionals connected to the MSU community. We developed a pilot training program on relationship violence as it applies to campus communities, and delivered the program to the target groups in the area.

Part of this project enabled us to write "Healthcare Providers' Response to Domestic Violence," a manual that discusses definitions, intervention strategies, and the barriers healthcare providers encounter, as well as the importance of community involvement in domestic violence. Contact our office to order a copy of this publication.
